What we do at the 'Worldwide' workshop

A little about our workspaceWe are lucky to have a large work area, and everything has a home, so the space is kept tidy and our tools are easy to find. With three two-post ramps and four members of staff working under them, our turnaround times are pretty quick, which our customers seem to like. There is also plenty of room within our workshop to store cars securely overnight, or for longer periods if necessary. |
The different things we like to do
- Servicing
For vehicles of all makes and models we cover full and minor services. To give you a better understanding of what this means, the service options are as follows:
Minor Service (usually every 10,000 miles)
- oil and oil filter change
- screen-wash top-up
- full inspectionFull Service (usually every 20,000 miles)
- oil and oil filter change
- air filter change
- pollen filter change
- fuel filter change
- replacement of spark-plugs (if applicable)
- screen-wash top-up
- full inspection
- MOTs
These required tests should usually be booked with us at least two days in advance. If things go well, and for those who regularly service their cars with us it often does, then the vehicle is returned later the same day. However, this of course depends on the results of the MOT test and what, if any, repairs need to be carried out. If you do leave your car with us and maintenance work is required, you will be contacted with a quote and, as soon as we are given 'the nod', a time to collect.
- Repairs
Our technicians are experienced in a great many areas and generally like to fix things, no matter how large or small. Whether it's the replacement of a gearbox or a windscreen wiper, changing brake discs and pads or suspension struts, fitting a new engine or replacing a headlight bulb, clutch replacements, head gaskets and electronic door-locks, taking old rusty exhausts off and putting shiny new ones on or re-charging your air-conditioning gas - we like to cover just about everything.
- Tyre-fitting
We keep a respectable stock of tyres, all of the popular and regular sizes are catered for (and some of the not-so regular), plus a choice of specification; bottom, middle, or top of the range. At Worldwide Automotive Ltd there is a very good chance that if you require a new tyre - or a repair - due to a blow-out or worn treads, we can fix this for you on the day that you call, and while you wait. - Fuel drains
Putting the incorrect fuel into a vehicle is surprisingly common, a garage that provides the service of rectifying this is less common. We have the equipment and are happy to carry out this service whether in or out of hours, and again this is something that can be done while you wait. Unfortunate, of course, when it happens, and we understand the importance of getting our customers on their way as soon as possible (perhaps even before anyone else notices).
