MISSION STATEMENT
Wirral Mind exists to promote mental health; to foster and encourage greater understanding of mental health problems; to aid the development of, and to provide good quality voluntary and statutory services to those suffering from mental health problems and mental distress.
To represent the concerns and common interests of users of the service and their families, to service providers and members of the public.
- To promote mental health and to assist in relieving and rehabilitant persons suffering from mental disorders or conditions of emotional or mental distress.
- To promote an understanding of mental health issues, and to provide services to users and their carers with the range, quality and volume of service, which they desire.
- To encourage and demonstrate good practice in the development of local comprehensive mental health services.
- To provide services to people with learning disabilities / difficulties under appropriate conditions. With this philosophy in place and a firm belief in user led services and social inclusion, Wirral Mind has gone on to develop services to support adults suffering from poor mental health and those caring for them.
