REFLECTING ON 2011.

This has been a busy year with the re-ordering of the Nave and the preparation for the installation of the kitchen and toilet, the latter being well on the way to completion. Life at All Saints Upper Sheringham has continued as usual with our normal pattern of worship alongside the new and innovative concerts and events that have been arranged; the welcoming of Bishop Jonathan Meyrick to the Group in a wonderful service here in Upper Sheringham and the Confirmation and Licensing of Simon Fenn as Children, Youth and Families Missioner in the Holt Deanery. It was a joy to welcome children, their families and teachers from Beeston Hall School at Harvest and the Gresham’s School Choir as they entertained us on the eve of their tour to Rome. This all takes a lot of hard work and dedication, generosity and vision. To Fr. Phil, Revd Frank, all the retired clergy, those who read lessons, sides persons, flower arrangers and all who supply cakes and refreshments for the concerts and special services and the busy hands that have created such a variety of craft items for sale; to David who looks after the Almond Graves, and Simon Burton-Pye who keeps the churchyard well trimmed neat and tidy; to Ian Dent who looks after the clock and to everyone who has come and supported our events and our endeavours; we say a very grateful and heartfelt ‘THANK YOU!’

May we wish you all a peaceful and blessed Christmas, and a healthy New Year from Alan and Lin Churchwardens and all members of the PCC.
