INTERCESSIONS:

Our thanks go to those of our Congregation who give their time in preparing this valuable part of our Services. However the numbers of our regular Leaders diminish and hence we would welcome new participants, who would contribute either on a regular (once-a-month) basis or on occasional Sundays during the year.

Our roster will be revised for 2009 A.D. Offers of help will be vastly appreciated, particularly from our ladies whose modesty has always cloaked  their aptitude for this activity.

HARVEST:

The Church looked beautiful and a good congregation responded in kind by giving a generous £238 for Water Aid. A big thank you to all who helped to decorate, gave produce and who supported water Aid.

CHURCH BIKE RIDE:

Grateful thanks for the effort of our cyclists (old and young) who cycled for us as their sponsors. Fortunately, it was an ideal day and the effort raised £600 at the time of writing.

REMEMBRANCE DAY:

On Sunday, 9th November, we are holding our traditional Service at the War Memorial at 10.50am. Our offertory on that day will go to The British Legion.

ANIMAL TALES BY HUGH LUPTON:

Please book to hear stories entitled "Animal Tales" from this well-known story teller. Hugh Lupton will give a solo performance in Beck House Barn, Kelling on Saturday, November 15th from 7 - 9pm for children over six and adults. Tickets are £7 for adults and no charge for accompanying children (sixteen and under). All proceeds will be divided between the New Life House for handicapped children in Kathmandu and St. Mary's Church and Churchyard Fund.
