working towards a better quality for life for all in the community

The Trafford Tenants & Residents Federation wants to build pride across the borough, this means helping to support and build communities for everyone. Diversity helps this because people have different needs so that we can all live, play and work together.

To achieve this, Federation wants to see that people and communities are treated     equally  & fairly ,between us we can all do many things:

  • First: No one from The Federation will treat our members or members of the    public unfairly.
  • Second: People do not suffer from racism, sexism, homophobia or unfair    treatment on the grounds of disability, faith and age.
  • Third: Gays, lesbians and bi-sexuals don't feel they have to keep quiet to stay safe.
  • Fourth: Every group or community has a part to play.
  • Fifth: Men and women should be able to volunteer.
  • Sixth: Disabled people are given the power to take a full part in life.
  • Seventh: People of all religions or those who have no faith, can talk about their beliefs  in public.
  • Eighth: No one is too young or old to do what they want in life.
