New Licensing Hours.
New licensing hours are in operation at the Trades.
The Club has been granted a license to serve drinks up to 1 am on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and 2 am on Friday and Saturday.
These are optional hours which the Trades will use on selected occasions when the committee and management decide that late serving is appropriate, including gigs, dance nights and private functions. Late night openings will be publicised in the gig guide in advance and in gig publicity.
Please Note: the doors will continue to be locked at 11 pm, after which admission to the Trades Club will not be permitted.
The committee will review the situation once the new hours have been in operation for a reasonable period. If you have views on any of this please pass them on to the committee.

Times Change.
The club is changing its gig starting times, so gigs will begin at 9p.m. rather than 9.30p.m. This will mean people can get trains and buses back to Todmorden, Sowerby Bridge and Halifax without missing the end of a gig
.

We continue to bring you live music, serving a wide area in this part of the North of England. Local pubs continue to close, driven out of business by the availability of cheap alcohol from supermarkets and changing social fashions, the Trades Club continues its tradition of offering low cost access to excellent live music, made by real people, with no hype! Check out the amazing variety of gigs on offer to our members. The programme is always packed, 'cos everyone wants to play at The Club! Why not give the telly a miss and see a live band - it's a lot more memorable than the latest episode of Coronation Street! It really will give you something to talk about the next day.

Volunteers.
If you'd like to help out by staffing doors, decorating etc. please get in touch with Dave, Mark or Rowan in the Office or any staff or committee members. We especially want to know if there's anyone who can provide accommodation for bands and musicians.
