Whinchat Saxicola rubetra Ferry Meadows Country Park, Peterborough 8 September 2002
I love Whinchats and spent quite a bit of time (for me anyway!) trying to photo three birds in the dense scrub of Coney Meadow. Patience eventually paid off with this bird nicely framed by the hawthorn.
