White Stork Ciconia ciconia @ Lord's Holt, Cambridgeshire - 1 April 2003
The light was variable with the strengthening sun frequently blotted out by cloud. I kept snapping though, for as Marge warmed up, she got more active, flying from perch to perch before finally making off to feed on the washes.
Here she attempts to keep balance on a branch which is possibly just a little on the thin side for her toes!
