Black-throated Diver
Gavia arctica
North Bank, River Nene, Huntingdonshire
7 February 2003

If it's on the River Nene, chances are that Nene Washes RSPB warden Jonny Taylor will sniff it out! A cracking find and a star bird which performed brilliantly on the freshwater North Bank section of the River Nene west of Dog-in-a-Doublet.

Amazingly, this was the first BTD in the Peterborough area for 15 years.
