My neighbour opposite has an even bigger and denser leyland cypress hedge and this really is 'bird city'.
Countless species nest in it, including a colony of House and Tree Sparrows, and even more birds roost in it throughout the year.
With gourmet meals on tap at the drove-side diner opposite, it's little wonder it's where most of the small birds around here choose to hang out!
