the birdtable

A fairly traditional, treated timber, roofed birdtable on which seed and kitchen scraps are placed. Most species feed from it - even Pheasants try! Robins and Dunnocks enjoy the more relaxed pace of birdtable feeding - less hustle and bustle!

It is purposely positioned close to the thick, clipped leyland cypress hedge so that the birds have a safe place to fly to when under siege by the local Sparrowhawks or any of the eight moggies from surrounding houses.
