If it's action you want, then hang out below the seed feeders. The greedy so-and-sos above scatter plenty of seeds as they gorge themselves at the seed feeder ports.
But this is the big boys ground - Collared Doves squabble among themselves and Pheasants will be only too pleased to head-butt anyone and everyone out of their way!
The grass here is cropped even shorter to allow the birds to hoover up fallen seed.
