Ink Again is a project collecting used ink and toner cartridges. The project gains an income for collecting the cartridges and this is used to pay the collectors.
Currently, we collect cartridges from Lancaster University; in the future we may start collecting from other organisations as well.
Ink Again has had a varied history including being let down by other businesses and the collapse of the value of cartridges for refilling – but it has weathered the storms and now seems to be on a stable footing.
Many thanks have to go to Lancaster University, Ink n Toner and ShP for their support for Ink Again; this truly shows how charities, businesses and academic institutions can work together.
Aside from support costs for individuals, Ink Again covers all its costs for itself and pays the project members out of the money raised.
