Shirley Smith is a Derbyshire based Artist whose work encompasses a wide range of media and techniques.

Her specialism lies in Drawing, but she also works with Printmaking and the exploration of Mixed Media to create work that touches on Installation.

With many years of teaching experience behind her, Shirley is an excellent choice for Artist in Residence work at all levels of competence.

Shirley was selected to be part of the 2008 Wirksworth Festival where her work was on display during the Trail Weekend

At the start of 2009 Shirley successfully completed her Master of Arts.

Shirley has been selected to display work at Derby Museum and Art Gallery's One Step Beyond Exhibition between 18th April and 28th June 2009.
