Football 4 all - Four Goals
This game is played with four goals instead of two. Each team defends two goals, with both goals they
are defending being on the same side of the pitch. The pitch is usually short and wide rather than long.
For instance, if playing on pre-marked pitch, you may want one goal on the touchline in each half of the pitch.
We play with no goalkeepers.
The intention is to encourage the players to switch play across the play area - so the goals defended by each team should be a good distance apart.
This is a good game to discourage 'bunching' for young players, and to encourage switching the direction of the attack (if one goal gets congested - then switching play to
the other goal is an effective way of scoring.
