The Star and Garter is Bromley's only gay venue, opened speficially for the LBGT community in and around the Bromley area. The Star host regular cabaret events, as well as Karaoke, Quiz nights etc and will be introducing special night aimed at the girls and the guys, so they can kick back and have a girly night alone or a guy night with interesting things aimed specifically at them.. We are open to suggestions as to what you would like to see on your nights, so e-mail us and let us know what you would like. The Team Dannii - The Manageress (or head Bitch), is a pre-op transexual and used to co-manage Yorkes in Maidstone before being airlifted to The Star on her Birthday (what a present) Christine - Our small firecracker, has been with us for a while now and many of the regulars know and love her. Chris - Another of our long serving bar staff, a mechanic by day, super-barman by night (he has even been known to take his shirt off occasionally) Jade - is fairly new here, but has fitted in very well, and is up for a laugh, has been known to fall asleep in stange places, but we love her. Bobby - Our Latest recruit, the blonde cutie who flirts with just about everyone. Will - or Will the Till, AKA the door whore :-), Will has been located at the door on most fridays and saturdays, but has now been shunted behind the bar.
