21st March, 1960 - George Mayo teaches a Kyushindo Judo class to breakfall (at Highgate Kyushindo Judo Club, London) whilst students of all grades look on. Note the Kyushindo Shield fixed to the door behind Mr Mayo. The smallest boy is called 'Jim Pook' and a television crew were present filming this session for a piece for Pathe News entitled 'Boy Judo Star'. 21st March, 1960 - a rare close-up picture of Mr George Mayo's Judo Gi with Kyushindo Judo Badge and Belt. This picture was taken at Highgate Kyushindo Judo Club for Pathe News on 21st March 1960. Note the beige coloured belt with red discs used for this display, rather than the Black Belt that Mr Mayo was wearing in the actual session. (click here to enlarge the picture)
