There are many volunteering opportunities with Solihull Action through Advocacy. Most volunteers form an advocacy partnership speaking up for, supporting a person with a learning disability in their life choices. Volunteers also play a role in running our monthly coffee mornings . A number of volunteers and their partners have teamed up to make group trips bowling, or to the theatre, thereby extending social networks and offering each other support. Other people volunteer by becoming members of the Management Committee, and supporting the staff. People also volunteer to write for the new Solihull Action through Advocacy newsletter. Volunteers can also promote the organisation in the local media. Other volunteers help with DIY jobs. If there are any volunteering opportunities listed that you would like to become involved with.
