Volunteering

  • There are many volunteering opportunities with Solihull Action through Advocacy.
  • Most volunteers form an advocacy partnership speaking up for, supporting a person with a learning disability in their life choices.
  • Volunteers also play a role in running our monthly coffee mornings .
  • A number of volunteers and their partners have teamed up to make group trips bowling, or to the theatre, thereby extending social networks and offering each other support.
  • Other people volunteer by becoming members of the Management Committee, and supporting the staff.
  • People also volunteer to write for the new Solihull Action through Advocacy newsletter.
  • Volunteers can also promote the organisation in the local media.
  • Other volunteers help with DIY jobs.

If there are any volunteering opportunities listed that you would like to become involved with. Or you have fund-raising skills, then we would love to hear from you.
