Hello and welcome to the official home page for Sarah Records (RIP) and Shinkansen Recordings (hibernating). Over the next few months, we hope to put some more information on this site, particularly relating to the history of both labels, including a full list of everybody whose life was changed by what we did (or possibly not). In the meantime, on the left there are links to some slightly random pages that already exist (i.e. they're not up to date!), and if you have any queries about either label, then please feel free to use the Shinkansen contact details. (including sleeves and track listing) BUYING MUSIC RELEASED ON SARAH AND SHINKANSEN All the original Sarah releases are, of course, long sold out. A lot of the Shinkansen catalogue is still available, though, and you can order using credit/debit cards or PayPal via our secure MAIL ORDER PAGE. Also... MUCH OF THE SARAH AND SHINKANSEN CATALOGUE IS NOW AVAILABLE FOR DIGITAL DOWNLOAD VIA iTUNES, e-MUSIC ETC. Below is a list of what's available so far. At the moment, it's mostly albums, for purely practical reasons. But note that in some cases we've used foreign releases of the albums, which means singles might be included, and in a couple of cases (Aberdeen and Brighter) we've invented singles compilations that never existed in the real world. Also, all the Sarah compilations are included, and many of the singles are on these - though, conversely, some tracks which were only ever licensed in the first place are missing. Basically, go to i-Tunes and look at the track-listing!
