Tompot Blenny were originally formed in 1992 under the inauspicious name of Spam. They released only one song under this name - a track called Krystals on the Loughborough University label Quarantine - before opting for the more exotic moniker they have today.

8 years and 10 musicians later, the band consists of Carl (vocals, guitar, bass), Craig (lead guitar) and Alan (drums). They are currently based in Nottingham.

Tompot Blenny have so far released two singles - Thinking Of Ways Of Keeping You Warm and Green Is The Best Colour - and an eight song mini-album, Found Under Blankets. They definitely have future plans, but have temporarily forgotten where they've put them.
