DAISY HILL APPOINT NEW MANAGER
Following Frank Armstrong's decision to stand down at the end of last season the Management Committee of Daisy Hill FC didn't waste any time in inviting Tommy Moore to take over the position of club manager.
Tommy is a former player, serving the club as far back as the successful youth team of 1967 - 68 and has also played for a number of other non league clubs.
In recent years he has concentrated on youth and has managed the Daisy Hill youth team very successfully since the boys were 11 years old culminating with last seasons U/18's championship and a superb run in the FA Youth Cup finally going out to Doncaster Rovers.
He has also managed the reserve team and been a constant support to the club manager.
His appointment is a popular one and will maintain local interest in the club.
The new seasons pre season activity will commence on Tuesday 4 July when he looks forward to welcoming old and new players for the 2006 - 2007 campaign.
