We are happy to announce the start of our "Complete Moroccan Experience" tours.

Beginning in November 2009 we can offer you the trip of a lifetime.

Let us take care of all the travel and accommodation for you, leaving you free to take it all in.

So, what will you experience?

We will collect you in either an air conditioned taxi (up to 4 people) or a minibus (up to 7 people) on arrival in Tangier. You will be brought to Chefchaouen, to our guesthouse for your initial 2 days.

On the 2nd day, we will take you to "Akchour", one of the most beautiful places in Morocco, to trek up the gorge. A ridiculously good Moroccan picnic is included, under "God's Bridge". (pictured on right).

In the evening, a guided tour of Chaouen Medina and evening meal, is a fine end to a fantastic day.

Next day, it's off to Fez, Morocco's cultural capital.

You will be staying in a lovely restored "Riad", and all meals are included.

We will arrange for you to have a guided tour of the old "Medina", taking in all the historical sights (not just carpet shops), with a reliable guide. This will give you the confidence to get out there on your own in the evening, and submerse yourself in the oldest medina in the world.

If you survive Fez Medina at night, the next day will be  a doddle.

The day trip to "Meknes" is another one of the highlights of your trip. It was the Sultan Mouley Ismail's stronghold in the 17th and 18th centuries. He was responsible for over 500,000 white slaves being brought to Morocco, and used them to build his Imperial Palace, some of which still remains but most was destroyed in an earthquake.

One of the eeriest sights are the old slave pens, and you can visit his mausoleum. (picture)

For further reading on Mouley Ismail and the white slave trade is a book called "White Gold" by Gyles Morton, a very interesting account of the times.

After Meknes, its off to Volubilus to take in the late afternoon sun and catch the sunset over the still impressive Roman Ruins.

Then its back to Fez for your evening meal, and Bed! (you'll need it).

After Fez, you head south to the Desert, over the Middle Atlas Mountains and through the "Ziz Gorge".

The Ziz Gorge is a sight to behold. 1km deep and 2kms wide and over 100km's long. And, its full of palm trees. Its a welcome respite from the heat of the plains.

Arriving in Merzouga, you will be taken, by camel, at sunset to the "Oasis in the desert". (hang on tight!!!). Camping in the desert is a truly amazing experience. You will see more stars than you have ever seen. A full, traditional dinner is supplied when you arrive at the oasis, but remember to bring your own alcohol as the nearest off-licence is miles away.

The trip back to civilisation is at dawn, while its not too hot, and the colours are just spectacular.

From Merzouga, you'll be heading to Ouarzazate to re-charge your batteries in a luxury, air-conditioned hotel, complete with pool.

Ouarzazate is the centre of Morocco's film world. Some big movies were shot around here, including "Lawrence of Arabia", Cleopatra and "The Sheltering Sky" among many others.

Its a relaxing, fairly modern city, and you'll have no problem exploring it at your leisure, although a guided tour can always be arranged.

Next day, its off to the natural wonders that are the "Gorges of Dades and Todra".

The sheer scale is awesome. We can take you on a variety of guided walks, through the gorges, depending on your ability, and ensure a thoroughly rewarding trek.

Then its back to Ouarzazte for evening meal and a good nights sleep.

The next day is from Ouarzazate to Tarroudant, via "Ait Ben Haddou".

The drive from Ouarzazate to Tarroudant is broken up by a visit to the mud Kasbah "Ait Ben Haddou". Here you will have lunch and a historic walk through the winding lanes of the old Kasbah.

Then its off to Tarroudant, where the snow capped High Atlas tower over its mud walls, its one of morocco's untouched beauties.

It has an ancient feel like nowhere else in Morocco, and is easily navigated. The people are mostly Berber here, and don't seem to affected by tourism and tend to let you go about your business unbothered.

Its another place to re-charge before heading up over the High Atlas Mountains to Marrakech, via the "Tizi n Test" pass.

Its an early start, around sunrise for the best scenery, when you head up the "Tizi n Test" pass. At nearly 7000 feet, this is one of the most amazing drives in Morocco. Toubkal is visible on a clear day from the small town os Asni, where you will have lunch. You'll need a jumper here at any time outside of the summer months.

Then its downhill all the way to Marrakech, your final destination.

You should arrive in Marrakech in time to visit the "Jemaa el Fna" square at dusk. Its the 1st place everyone goes, so get ready for the assault on your senses.

Every type of food is available here, most of which you will not recognise, as well as henna artists, snake charmers and storytellers. A guide can be arranged for your initial venture into the Medina, but you should be able to handle it alone, if your brave.

The 2nd day is a trip to the "Cascades de Ouzoud". This chilled out day at the waterfalls is a spectaclar ending to your trip. The water falls about 100metres into the river below, and is probably the most beautiful in Morocco. Here you will see Barbary Apes, (hang on to your bananas), and lush forests of ceder and almond trees.

Ouzoud actually means "delicious", and aptly named it was. The local produce here is second to none, especially the olives.

If you continue on from the lower pools, about 1 mile, you'll come to the medieval hamlet of "Tanagh-Melt". A very interesting place with its semi undergroud passages and great little cafes. Its a great place to catch the late afternoon sun making rainbows in the mist created by the waterfalls.

Then its back to Marrakech for 1 last night.

Its up to you what you do on your final night, maybe take in a nightclub or just have a stroll around the old city. As always, we can arrange a guide for you.

We will arrange your transport to Marrakech airport, for your flight home. However, you are free to extend your stay in Marrakech, or head back to Fez with our driver (extra charge for this). Just let us know when you book.

All in all, you will experience a wide variety of cultures, landscapes, food, music, thrills, and smells, on your trip.

All hotels are of a high standard and are on a half-board basis. (Breakfast and evening meals included). You will need to buy any alcohol you require.

All transport is in an air-conditioned Mercedes Taxi, or New Hyundai Mini-bus. (except the camel trek, which is on a non air-conditioned camel).

Flights to and from Morocco are not included, but we can help you with this by finding the cheapest flights to and from anywhere in Europe.

So, how much does it all cost?????

To keep all the costs as low as possible it is best to book in groups of 4 or 7 people. I know this is not  always possible, so if you are a single traveller or a couple the prices may vary. We will try to match up individual bookings so that there are either 4 or 7 people on the trip, keeping prices as stated.

Per Person, based on 4 sharing, the cost is 975 Euro's, for the whole trip.

Per Person, based on 7 sharing, the cost is 850 Euro's, for the whole trip.

Prices are on a half board basis, for the whole trip. Each day, breakfast and evening meal is provided. All you need to buy is lunch, and any Alcohol.

All our trips will commence on the 1st and 18th of each month, and end on the 11th and 28th.

We must have a minimum of 3 people before a trip is confirmed.

All bookings must be made a minimum of 4 weeks in advance, so we can confirm that the trip is going ahead.

A non refundable deposit of 25% is required to secure your place, this must be paid after confirmation is received, no later than 2 weeks before departure.
