Why pay for a full tool?
RFT Moulding Limited has invested in manufacturing a mould tool
bolster for smaller components.
This allows us to give excellent value for money and shorter lead times as
we have essentially turned 'one offs' into small batch runs. Moulds in the
past have generally been what we class as 'full tools', but why pay for a
bolster every time if you do not need to? Of course, these modular inserts will not
suit every job and we appreciate that some of our clients will want full ownership
of a transferable tool, but for a lot of our work these inserts can save time
and money both in manufacturing of the tool and, indeed, in the production of
the components.
