RFT Moulding takes delivery of new Arburg
|  | | | | | May 2004 has seen an old warhorse being replaced by the latest technology.
The final production run on the Demag 120 finished just before the
bank holiday and was taken to pastures new. In its place now sits a gleaming
new Arburg 470C with a clamp pressure of 150 tonnes and a shot capacity of some 390grammes (ps). The Selogica control allows more precise control of
moulding parameters and so allows us to be more competitive than ever. With its
fully automated dosing and material handling system from Motan everything becomes
more consistent and quality is achieved with greater ease. Automated 'snapshots'
of SPC parameters ensure accurate analysis during inspection and keeps RFT
Moulding ahead of the pack
