Strategies are far more useful when informed by practical hands on experience.

Practical knowledge can be used more productively when it is used in a strategic framework. 

Applying the grounded knowledge gained through grass roots action to knotty problems of social and economic policy can help us to unpick them. At the same time, ensuring the wider strategic overview is accessible and comprehensible to those working on the ground can enable them to achieve far more. 

At Future Perspectives this is what we aim to achieve. Through building bridges between these perspectives we work to facilitate understanding and help to achieve truly sustainable communities.
