RUGGED LCD MISSION DISPLAYS FOR AIRCRAFT
We
specialize in the supply of rugged airborne surveillance equipment. and in
particular products designed for helicopters and fixed wing aircraft. We provide
a wide range of multi-function lcd displays designed for use with FLIR cameras
from the world's leading manufacturer's such as FLIR Systems, Wescam, Irenco,
Cumulus, BAe Systems, Selex Sensors, Galileo and TAMAN.
Our
LCD displays have multiple video inputs and can accept video in various forms
including composite PAL or NTSC, Y/C or component and RGB with sync on green.
Our displays are RS172 compliant and can also show graphics images from VGA,
SVGA and XGA sources. Our picture-in-picture function enables a video window
to be placed over a full screen graphic input (such as moving map) and the
video window can be sized and positioned to the operators preference.
Other
formats of video including STANAG 3350 are handled by the internal video processor.
The
video input can be frozen using our standard Freeze Frame feature designed
into all our displays. By the touch of a single button the video image will
be frozen on the screen to enable analysis by the operator. Touching the button
again goes back to live video.
All
our displays are available as NVG compatible versions. Our new NVG filter
system enables operators to see colour through the NVG filter bringing him
advantages over traditional NVG filters which dominated the screen with green
tint.
Currently
Skyquest offer multi-function lcd displays in a range of sizes including 4",
6.5", 8.4",10.4",12.1",15",18", 21.1" and
a rugged CRT display in 9".

Video
recorders for aircraft
We
continue to offer the well proven and ultra reliable SVHS version recorder
for users who still prefer traditional formats for recording evidence.
More
recently we have seen the demand change towards digital formats and we currently
offer both digital tape recorders in both mini DV and DV and DV CAM formats.
We also have a hard disk video recorder available. Data sheets on all our
products can be downloaded from our web site and technical documentation such
as DDP's and ICD's can be downloaded once you have obtained a password.
Our
new Flash Disk compact flash video recorder is small and lightweight and offer
unrivalled video recording quality.
For
many users the best solution seems to be the use of traditional VHS / SVHS
tape recorder backed up by the hard disk video recorder. This dual combination
allows users to keep first generation copies of evidence on trusted VHS format
tapes whilst giving them total flexibility with the hard disk recording.
Differential
GPS for aircraft
We
provide very accurate DGPS signals that offer virtually world-wide coverage.
Typically we offer sub-meter accuracy but users who demand the highest level
of positioning accuracy opt for our High Performance DGPS service which offers
X & Y accuracy of between 8 and 10 cm and height between 16 & 20 cm.
