Hi and welcome to my new coin market news page. Here you will find dates for your diary and news regarding the London coin scene for the coming months. 

Last year saw many exciting coin auctions and fairs, many in the London area. Check out my listed high-lights below for 2012. Many auction prices achieved at coin auctions in 2011 reached new heights. The buoyant and active London coin scene, will hopefully continue to grow in 2012despite the economic conditions!  Happy collecting.

 LONDON Auctions

The next Croydon coin auction : September 11th 2012, is at the usual venue: The United Reformed Church Hall, Addiscombe Grove, Croydon, ( a 2 minute walk from East Croydon B. R.)  These auctions normally have over 1000 lots, many with low estimates. There's bound to be something for everyone! Dates for 2013: January 8th 2013.

 Outside LONDON Auctions

The next London coins auction: .02/06/2012 - 03/06/2012 Auctions held at The Windsor Suite, Grange Hotel, Bracknell, Charles Square, Bracknell, Berkshire. Most auctions have over 1000 lots. For more details please see their web site:  Further auctions for 2012: 01/09/2012 - 02/09/2012 

LONDON Coin Fairs/Shows

The following coin fairs all take place in central London

The next London coin Fair  is on:  Saturday 26th May 2012

 and will be held at The Holiday Inn, Coram Street, London WC1 (nearest tube Russell square).  This is the big one! with up to 70 dealers this fair is not to be missed!  Contact: Mr Mike Veissid Telephone: 01694 731781. Further dates for 2012: 3rd November 2012

 A smaller London coin fair, but still worth visiting is held at The Bloomsbury Hotel, 16-22 Great Russell Street, London. WC1 3NN.( Between Tottenham Court Road & The British Museum). Next Fair: 7th July 2012. Admission £2.00. This fair has fewer dealers then the London coin fair but still worth a look.   Further Fairs for 2012: 1st September. 1st December. Enquires:01694 731781

LONDON  Coin Market

Open every Saturday morning and right in the heart of London, Opposite Embankment Tube. Charing Cross Market. This coin market is definitely worth a visit. Good choice of dealers and no admission charge.  In addition to coins, also on offer are antiquities, stamps and post cards. 

Charing Cross Collectors' Fair

A small market for collectors of antiques, stamps, medals, coins, other articles.

Villiers Street WC2.    Saturday only, 7:30-14.30.
