About us

Many fertility treatments were pioneered in Exeter, from the first Donor Insemination treatments in the UK in the early part of the 20th century, performed by Dr Margaret Jackson, to the first IVF Clinic in the SouthWest Peninsula, which started treating patients in 1995

The Peninsular Centre for Reproductive Medicine is co-located with the Royal Devon & Exeter NHS Fertility Clinic at Heavitree Hospital, Exeter. In 2009 the clinic underwent a major refurbishement with the creation of new clinical and laboratory areas.

The clinic has a full 5-year license from the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority (Licensed Centre 0005)
