BROWN ALE 1 Ib.
extract of malt
2 oz. black malt grains
1 teaspoonful granulated yeast
8 Ib. sugar, white or brown
1 oz. dried hops
1 gallon water
Boil the hops, sugar and malt grains in one gallon of
water for twenty minutes, then strain and stir in the malt. When cool,
add the yeast, ferment, bottle, prime and mature for two weeks.
