Proposed Projects
   
Water Wall: Situated in the Newcombe Piazza and designed by a team under the direction of Professor Dante Leonelli.

The existing water wall feature would be replaced by a large computer-driven screen.

The display would feature community programming, art videos and some advertising and public announcements among other attractions.

Eco Halo: Situated over the junction of Notting Hill Gate and Pembridge Road. Designed by a team under the direction of Professor Dante Leonelli.

The halo would change colour depending on the criteria being measured in the ecological environment, for example, air pollution or noise.

Light Koan: Situated at the junction of Pembridge Road and Kensington Park Road over the existing building on this prominent site and designed by Liliane Lijn in association with Structural Engineers Alan Baxter & Associates.

The Koan revolves with eliptical halos.

   
Czech Point: The proposed treatment of the Czech Embassy at the junction of Notting Hill Gate and Kensington Mall designed by Spiers and Major.

The proposal extols the openess of the Czech nation and the enhanced movement without borders of both people and information.

   
Nadim Karam: Following a grant of £6,000 from Visiting Arts - The British Council - Nadim Karam has created two figures in pierced metalwork and coloured plastic which are intended to be sited over the top of Waterstones facing Notting Hill Gate with the assistance of Land Securities. A Planning Application has been submitted to the Council and it is hoped that permission will be given for these to be installed shortly.
