| The NCS Blog | Observant users of the NCS website Homepage may have noticed that it shows a link to a Blog facility that was developed for use by the Norland Conservation Society. This enables those authorised by NCS to "post" information via E-mail to be displayed on the website; it also allows those so authorised to send comments on the information sent by others. The intention is to enable NCS Committee Members to use this facility but it may later be opened up for any Member of the Society to comment. Typically, this will allow information on planning applications to be "posted" to the website and local residents to send in their comments to be taken into account when the NCS gives its views to the Council. |

The URL for the NCS Website has now been
changed from: www.norlandsociety.org.uk to www.norlandconservationsociety.org.uk to more correctly relate to the name of the Society. |
| Tara Stack | The NCS Committee was concerned that the change of government regulation had forced Tara Stack to leave this country and return to the USA as a result of the imposition of the charge that has been made on non-nationals.
