| Annual Lecture | The Norland Conservation Society's 40th Anniversary Year Annual Lecture will take place on Wednesday 25th March 2009 at 7:30pm at St James Norlands' Church, St James's Gardens, London W 11. | Tara Stack | The NCS Committee was concerned that the change of government regulation had forced Tara Stack to leave this country and return to the USA as a result of the imposition of the charge that has been made on non-nationals. The committee thanked her for all the work that she has done while she lived here in Princedale Road and we are now searching for a replacement Street Representative. |

| NCS Website |
The URL for the NCS Website has now been
changed from: www.norlandsociety.org.uk to www.norlandconservationsociety.org.uk to more correctly relate to the name of the Society. |
| The NCS Blog | Observant users of the NCS website Homepage may have noticed that it now shows a link to a Blog facility that has been developed for use by the Norland Conservation Society. This enables those authorised by NCS to "post" information via E-mail to be displayed on the website; it also allows those so authorised to send comments on the information sent by others. The intention is to enable NCS Committee Members to use this facility but it may later be opened up for any Member of the Society to comment. Typically, this will allow information on planning applications to be "posted" to the website and local residents to send in their comments to be taken into account when the NCS gives its views to the Council. |
