Recordings

The Nash tours have be given throughout Europe, and the USA where their recent concerts in March/April 2007 received much critical acclaim. The Group are regular visitors to many international music festivals and are heard on radio and TV, at the South Bank Centre, the BBC Proms and music clubs throughout the country.

Nash recordings are often nominated for awards: premiere recordings for Hyperion of little known chamber works of Saint-Saens and Vaughan Williams have received critical praise, as have the Wigmore Hall Live recordings of works by Mendelssohn and Brahms. Recent highly-rated discs have included those for Richard Strauss's chamber music "this is attributable to the virtuosic playing by the Nash" Sunday Telegraph (Hyperion), Mozart Piano Quartets "The Nash are right up there with the leaders in this dazzling Mozart coupling" Gramophone (Sanctuary Classics), and the Brahms Sextets "The performance of the superb second sextet is also exemplary" Sunday Times (Onyx Classics).

Artistic Director Amelia Freedman CBE has also been Artistic Director of the Bath Mozartfest since 1995.
