MANAGER’S POST
JOB DESCRIPTION
Job title – Shop Manager
Main purpose of job – to ensure smooth running of shop on a daily basis and to increase sales performance
Key tasks:
Be responsible for cashing up/banking and payment of suppliers with cash where possible
Ensure the volunteer rota is fully covered and to conduct training/induction of new volunteers
To maintain stock control and be responsible for ordering new stock/trialling new suppliers
Marketing of the shop with a view to increasing sales
Responsible to -
Hours – up to 20 hours per week, precise hours to be agreed by negotiation
Contract – initial 1 month trial period then 3 month renewable contract based on satisfactory performance
Salary -
