Bridget Hope – Practice Manager
Bridget has worked here since April 2001 as Practice Manager and has been in veterinary practice since 1993. She lives close by on the slopes of Eccles Pike with her husband Steve, teenage son Christian, a border terrier named Ted and several chickens. She also has two grown up children, Helen and Jonathan and three beautiful grandchildren. In her spare time she enjoys travelling, cooking and reads constantly.
Michaela graduated university with a BSc (hons) in psychology but joined Knox & Devlin in 1993 to pursue her true vocation of working with animals. Michaela lives in Buxworth with her six cats, Paddy, Darcy, Purdy, Mara, Pretty and Pink and her three black Labradors, Tulani, Temba and Alfie. Any spare time is spent enjoying walking her dogs in the beautiful Peak District hills of Kinder, Lyme Park and the Goyt Valley and driving the dogs for a run on the beaches of Formby and Wales.
Pauline has worked at the practice since 2001 as a receptionist and accounts administrator. She lives locally with her husband David and two sons, Dean and Jess. Pauline has a Border collie, Skye and cat, Smokey. When not at work Pauline spends most of her time helping out on the family sheep and beef farm, where she also keeps sheep and ducks. In her spare time she enjoys walking, reading and can occasionally be found out socializing with her friends.
Cath has a long standing history at the practice, having worked here for over 20 years. She is one of our qualified first aiders. Cath lives in Whaley Bridge with her husband, 2 dogs, 2 cats and 2 goldfish. She has 2 grown up children. Cath occasionally helps out at Dove Holes Cat Sanctuary and in her spare time she enjoys walking and visiting antique fairs.
Carol joined the team at Knox & Devlin in August 2002 having previously worked as a medical receptionist in New Mills, where she lives with her husband Steve and son Liam. Carol also has two other grown up children, Dean & Adele. Carol spends her leisure time enjoying long walks with her friends, swimming and keeping fit in the gym.
Sue has been our cleaner here for many years and we would be lost without her. She can be relied upon to do a brilliant job and always has a smile and a kind word for everyone.
