Friday 30th July 2010:
Only Men Aloud, Only Boys Aloud & Abertillery Choir Aloud!........What an event!! As you'll see from the photographs, Colin Holmes decides that this is a day for instruction. Firstly, he gives compatriate Mr Denis Roles a lesson on how to wear a ties, and then he gives a demonstration on his "Great British Bake" sampling methods. Lastly, he passed his wealth of knowledge onto a younger member from OBA........"buy your rock cakes in Greggs. Phyllis' are a bit hard".
F Troop then get a lesson in whisky sampling "gentry style" as John Morgan esq dishes out his silver plated folding whisky tumblers and bottle of whisky (it's good job Jeff didn't bring his flask because we'd have needed silver pint tankards!)
Not be left out, Mr Tecwyn Jones advises on Welsh elecution lessons with the upper echelons of BBC Wales and gives Angharad Mair one............wouldn't we all!...........Well done Tec on keeping our language alive.
There was a last message from Stephen Bard. "If you think clapping is difficult in Jubilate lads, just wait until I get a loan of the batons off OMA for Men of Harlech!".
Da'iawn Bois!
