few fictional books based on or around Dad's Army have
appeared over the years, aside from the annuals.
Both
the novelisation and Defence of a Frontline Village were
based on existing scripts, whilst Piccolo's Cartoon book utilised
Bill Titcombe's existing cartoon artwork from TV Comic.
