Front Lounge

Yes, of course we use fresh local ingredients but what makes us so popular with locals and visitors alike is the personal touch.

The kitchen at the Heugh Hotel in Stonehaven is supervised by Mr.Hermanns snr. who ensures that all meals, whether a banquet, buffet, dinner, supper or sandwich is prepared with the utmost care and with that 'homemade' feel which is sadly lacking in so many establishments today.

We are also well know for the generous portions of food we serve and also that most important of considerations - value for money.

As you know, there is more to a dining experience than just the food, and you will find that the service we provide at The Heugh is efficient but, at the same time, relaxed and generally informal.

The surroundings will also play a part in the overall impression when dining out. Here, you have a choice of our lounge (pictured above) which is light and airy with a relaxed feel, or the more formal Oak Room Restaurant (below) for that special occasion.
