Foundation Transactional Analysis

This one-day event will provide a clear and simple introduction to Transactional Analysis theory and operation. This course is suitable for all those who wish to understand and utilize effective communication skills and  recognize the underlying roots to how people behave in this area.

During the one-day course members will:

• Receive information on the theories of Transactional Analysis and communication

• Identify the Parent Adult and Child states and communication

• Explore the background to effective and non-effective listening

• Identify how people perceive and misunderstand 'Messages'

• By exercises and discussion, rehearse and practise clear TA techniques

• Receive information on the classic games that people play

• Explore how stories and 'fairytales' can affect our expectations and relationships
