GREY CELL TRAINING PRESENTS

Sex Offender Awareness

This one-day event will provide a clear and simple introduction to Sex Offender behaviour and management. This course is suitable for all those who are working in groups or organisations that include under 18s 

course 220 - Sex Offender Awareness

During the one-day course members will:

  • Receive information on Schedule  offences and the Sex Offender Act 2003

  • Learn of some of the different ways in which abuse can happen, and discuss whether there are 'identifiable types' of abusers that can be recognised

  • Identify some of the victim signs

  • Identify what 'Grooming' really means

  • Discover how to receive and process information on suspected abuse situations, and how the mind works in acceptance and rejection of allegations

  • Discover what to do and where to go when faced with a possible abuse situation

  • Explore how to work with legislation and liaison with other agencies

9.30 am – 4.30 pm

Location: Knuston Hall, Northamptonshire

Delegate Fee £150 (+ VAT)

Accommodation –  BBE on request (£60 + VAT)

The event will combine presentation with discussion, exercises and the opportunity for individuals to gain information and confidence in working with Sex Offender issues
