Sharnbrook chairman Ian Harper described Bedfordshire Bowls Monthly as a 'terrific magazine' at the Bedford Triples League annual presentation evening.
Ian made his comments in respect to declining numbers in bowls and that clubs cannot rely any more on the local press with respect to publicity so have to look at other avenues in recruiting new members.
The presentation evening was held for the first time in conjunction with the Tuesday Evening Women's Triples League.
It was announced during the evening that the Monday Evening Men's Triples League would be re-organised into five divisions from the forthcoming seasons.
Guests at the presentation evening were serenaded by local singing quartet 'No Safety Net'.
