I have been breeding dairy goats since 1960, producing milk and dairy products both for sale and for the family. Since Goat Nutrition products became available I have been using them regularly - for example udder wipes, milk filters and Capriclense dairy detergent disinfectant are used here 365 days of the year. I am very satisfied with these products. My herd is almost entirely free of mastitis and the milk is delicious and keeps extremely well. I would not want to change to any other brand. We discovered Goat Nutrition not long after we bought our first two pygmy nanny goats from a pet shop in Bolton. We were having a dreadful time trying to find everything we needed and were lucky enough to pick up a leaflet with our first tub of vitamin supplement at a Pygmy Goat Club workshop in Wales. It wasn’t long before our herd expanded and we branched out into Angora Goats. We had always been pleased with GN’s standard Caprivite supplement and herbal mixes but after a couple of seasons using their specialist Caprivite Angora mix, we were really impressed. Other Angora breeders, including a recognised judge, looked at the fleeces from our year old does and were convinced they were kid fleeces. Several of our contacts are now using Caprivite Angora vitamin supplement on a regular basis. I have been keeping Angora Goats since 1986 and started using Caprivite Angora 10 years ago. I find it easy to use as a feed additive as it is highly palatable. Mixing it with beet pulp then adding it to the feed ensures even distribution. It has made a significant improvement to fibre, horn and hoof growth. I started to use Caprotein some 5 years ago and again it is highly palatable and is easy to use with barley and oats and I feel confident that it is entirely wholesome with no hidden ingredients. I have used the louse powder from Goat Nutrition for several years now. My goat lost a lot of hair and was always scratching - after treating with the powder her coat cleared up very quickly. I cannot recommend it more highly. I now use it as a preventative to keep the lice at bay. I also use it on my rabbit - the powder is made from natural products so I know it is safe to use. I wouldn't be without Caprilac milk replacer. I know it's a match for goats milk which is the 'universal donor' and I have fed my puppy Meg on it for 9 months. I am so pleased with her general condition and energy. Her coat especially has a really healthy sheen. I just won't use anything else but Caprilac.
