The Field of Dreams Conservation Project
The Field of Dreams (known locally as Myers Allotment) is a scientifically significant site in Silverdale, Lancashire, England. The following pages offer information about the site and some of the conservation strategies that were employed there. Between 1998 and 2008 the site was managed by EPIC under DEFRA Countryside Stewardship. As a result of the improvements generated by equine conservation grazing, the site now supports grazing with cattle.
