The Friends of the Homeless and the Fareham and Gosport Basics Bank
project are a Christian based organisation, with many of our volunteers
coming from the local churches. However, we are very pleased to welcome
anyone with a caring heart and willing hands as a volunteer.
We appreciate any help that you may be able to offer and this could
be in a number of ways. It could be that you are able to spare a couple
of hours once a week or may be able to help on an irregular basis to cover
for people on holiday or sick.
We also require assistance with secretarial work, fund raising and
maintenance work at the centre.
As we are responsible for the wellbeing of our clients, we will
ask you to complete a simple application form where we will require the
name and address of a professional person to act as a referee. We reserve
the right to decline your offer.
