Youth Support Services aimed at 14-22 year olds was initially set up to provide an alternative to street corners and bars. The local area was characterised by a growing drug and alcohol problem among young people, and a high level of suicide among young men in particular.

The Warehouse (as the youth provision is known) opens all day at weekends as well as each evening from 6pm - 10pm. It provides a range of programmes including social/recreational activities, personal development, health and relationship advice, and support with learning through access to the computer suite.

An important feature of this service is the fact that it is run "by young people for young people" (supported by adults).
