Dave & Jen Edwards own a one-twelfth share in the narrowboat Hawksmoor managed by Ownerships Ltd. Each of the twelve owners is guaranteed three weeks use of the boat per year, plus extra weeks once the booking chart has been around everyone. To ensure fairness, there is a rota system for choosing weeks, complicated by the fact that “special” shares are available with priority for booking the school holiday periods. We own such a share.
