About Us

Derby Music Centre aims to provide opportunities for young people to make music together, develop their musical talents, and take part in public performances.

We welcome any young person who already plays an instrument to join one of our many orchestras, bands and groups.

  Fees from January 2009 are:

                                               £35.00 per member

                                               £60.00 per family

Bursaries are available to families in receipt of certain benefits - please contact us for details.

Concerts

Throughout the year, all members of the Music Centre have the opportunity to play in events and concerts. These range from small end of term concerts held at the Music Centre, to the Annual Gala Concert held at Derby Assembly Rooms with an audience of over 1000 people.
