A bit about us

I am Dave Martin the happy one on the left. Since leaving school long long ago I have always been fascinated with cars and motorbikes and how they work to how to keep them running. Early in the 1980`s I decided to set up Clifford street motors offering a friendly service with down to earth prices, over the years due to popular demand we extended our premises, fitting state of the art MOT equipment and building a fully fitted out workshop next to the  main garage, offering servicing, tyre's, clutch replacement, welding, and a whole array of other auto services.

Phil my son on my left came to work with me 10 years ago now and is fully trained in gas and mig welding, mot testing, and nvq level 3 trained in auto mechanics, he is also a master in restoring classic minis.

Debbie (my daughter) in the middle is our  receptionist and will always try to help if you need advise or to book your car in for an mot. If you are lucky enough she will even make you a great cup of tea while you wait for your car.

Next left is Dave, I have known Dave since our school days and he is also fully trained with 35 years experience behind him.

Finally we have Matt, he only joined us this year but is proving to be a top mechanic and problem solver, and also our main tyre fitter.

We keep going from strength to strength and I put this down to our friendly service and realistic pricing, as well as new customers we have customers that come back year after year to use us for looking after there vehicle, this makes me very proud to be the owner of Clifford street motors.
