Letter dated 1959 from the Diocesan Archivist at Bishop's House, Southwark (Crawley was at that time part of the Diocese of Southwark) requesting pictures of the new Church of St. Francis and St. Anthony. "I haven't had the happiness of seeing your new church but I understand from his Lordship that it is beautiful.." The Archist subsequently wrote thanking the Friars for the information they had sent: describing it as an invaluable help to future historians.
