In 1846,
master clock maker Johannes Hengstler set up a workshop in Aldingen in
Southern Germany, for the mass production of clock springs. In the decades
that followed, the foundations of Hengstler‘s current wide-ranging
experience were laid, with the production of Counters, Printers, Cutters,
Relays and Encoders. Today, they also include Controllers and Linear and
angle Measuring Systems in there product portfolio. Since 1995, Hengstler has been a member of the U.S. Danaher Corporation whose head office is situated in Washington D.C. The Danaher Group has an annual turnover of several billion US$. Its principal areas of operation are in tools and components as well as process control and environmental technology and Hengstler fits well into this last category |
